鹿角立鹤（复仿件）

鹿角立鹤,战国早期青铜器；原件现收藏于湖北省博物馆，大厦现藏有复仿件于东湖厅区域；1978年出土于湖北随县（今随州市曾都区）曾侯乙墓。器形以底座、立鹤，鹿角以榫卯构连，鹤为长颈圆首，尖嘴上翘作钩状，硕腹拱背，翅展尾垂，高腿扁足，头两侧生有枝权丛生、朝上内卷呈圆弧状的一对鹿角。鹿是一种长寿的仙兽，据古书记载：千年为苍鹿，又五百年为白鹿，又五百年为玄鹿。更因为鹿和“福禄寿”的“禄”同音同声，所以有富贵之象征，故此器寓意“吉祥长寿”。造型优美，形态美观，风格独特，体现了楚地先民高超的青铜铸造技术和独特的审美情趣，是一件独具风格的青铜工艺精品。

Deer-Antler Standing Crane (Reproduction)
The Deer-Antler Standing Crane is a bronze artifact from the early Warring States period. It was unearthed in 1978 from the Tomb of Marquis Yi of Zeng in Sui County, Hubei Province (present-day Zengdu District, Suizhou City), and the original is now housed in the Hubei Provincial Museum. The artifact is constructed with a base, a standing crane, and deer antlers joined together by mortise-and-tenon joints. The crane features a long neck and a rounded head, with a pointed beak curving upward like a hook. It has a large curved body, spreading wings, a drooping tail, long thin legs, and flat feet. On both sides of its head grow a pair of branching deer antlers that curl upward and inward in a circular arc.
The deer is considered an immortal creature of longevity. According to ancient records, a deer turns blue-gray after a thousand years, white after fifteen hundred years, and dark (mystical) after two thousand years. Furthermore, because the Chinese word for deer (lu) is a homophone of "emolument" (lu) in the "Fortune, Emolument, and Longevity" triad, it also symbolizes wealth and nobility. Thus, this artifact carries the auspicious meaning of "good fortune and long life." With its elegant form, distinctive style, and unique aesthetic, it reflects the advanced bronze-casting techniques and distinctive artistic tastes of the ancient Chu people, making it an exceptional bronze masterpiece.
